Kelsey & Joe’s Colorful Portage Lakes Engagement Session
Any day of the year in Ohio is hit or miss. Mother Nature has a mind of her own, especially in Fall. When Kelsey and Joe booked their engagement session, we had hoped for some color left on the trees. We had originally planned on going to Peninsula, but I thought they would like a look similar to the Stan Hywet architecture. When I met with them a couple weeks ago at their Portage Lakes Engagement Session, we started at the beautiful Tudor House. We lucked out with color! If you know my work, I love color and rich tones. The light was glowing, and the color was oh so perfect!
Right next to the Tudor House is the beach area at the Lake. No one was there, so we had the place to ourselves. Kelsey and Joe literally zipped through their session without needing a whole lot of direction. They are so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, it made me that much more excited for their May wedding! They are a perfect match and we really made the session fun. I always go a little overboard with shooting and then it’s so hard to narrow down my favorites! Kelsey and Joe, I absolutely love everything about your session, and I hope you do too!
