I met up with Britanie and Scott last Sunday for their Engagement Session in Zoar. It was my first time doing a photo session in Zoar, and if you’ve never been there, definitely check it out! It is the cutest little historic village not far from Canton. Since it was a Sunday, there were no visitors in site, so we had the space all to ourselves!
We decided to meet in the evening when the temps weren’t quite so hot, but it was still in the 90’s. It wasn’t the most ideal weather for a photo session, but it was good practice for Britanie and Scott, who are having an outdoor August wedding next Summer. The buildings were all so colorful and full of texture. We spent some time walking around the village and then going to a nearby bridge. Britanie and Scott met at Ohio State, so they wanted some photos in their OSU jerseys.
We planned for our last location to be around sunset, so we would get beautiful golden light. And, thankfully we did! Scott had his truck all cleaned up for some pictures. They also had their fur baby, Copper, meet us for some photos. Copper is their brown lab, who will also be attending the wedding. The pictures at the park are some of my favorites from the day. I am excited to share a glimpse of their engagement session with you.
Britanie and Scott, thank you for sticking out the heat with me. It was a great time getting to know you both! I hope you love the preview!
