Canton Cultural Center Summer Wedding / Calle & Craig

To say that I loved Calle and Craig’s Canton Cultural Center Wedding is an understatement! First of all, Calle has a job that many (including me) have dreamt of. She is an art teacher at the high school that I attended. Art and photography were by far my favorite subjects in school, and I’m blessed to be truly living my dream by creating photos as my job! So, needless to say, as an art teacher- Calle LOVES color. When she told me her wedding palette was watercolors, I knew it was on point with my style.  Secondly, they rocked their engagement session last Summer, so I knew they can work the camera! This was all a recipe for perfection come wedding day!

Calle and the bridesmaids wore robes while they had their hair and makeup done. She wore her Grandma’s necklace and earrings, which I loved how unique they were- and they reminded me of a set my Grandma would have had! The bridesmaids looked amazing with different dresses, and their bouquets just filled with colors. Mother nature tried to spit some rain before the ceremony, but I never doubted it would end up being a sunny, happy day!

The ceremony was very meaningful and heartfelt. The newlyweds waited seven years for their day to come, and you could feel the excitement they shared. They truly are a couple that you just know belongs together. After the ceremony, the bridal party had pictures taken at the Canton Garden Center. One of my favorite spots in Canton to go for outdoor nature shots.

The reception was held at the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts. After dinner, they had a slideshow to start off the night. Calle is also a dance instructor, so there was some serious moves going on! Jake with Flash and Sound had the crowd dancing until the end.  I loved the little cake they had to cut, and guests enjoyed several flavors of ice cream by New Baltimore. We snuck outside for some night shots, and they danced in the rain. As always, I shed several tears throughout the day. I am so happy for these two, and it was wonderful working with Craig’s family again, and seeing several of my past couples.

Calle and Craig, I hope Hawaii was amazing, and your wedding was everything you hoped for! Here are my favorites from your day!
