Cassondra & James- Cleveland Zoo Wedding -

Thanks to Jimmy’s sister and their love of country music, Cassie and Jimmy hit it off at Blossom Music Center at a country concert in 2012. By the end of 2013 they were engaged, and starting the journey of wedding planning. Getting to know Cassie and Jimmy over some time, they have such loving personalities. Cassie is so bubbly, her upbeat personality is infectious. It’s hard to believe that she’s a probation officer, and Jimmy is a police officer. They are truly in love, and I can see that through their pictures.

I met Cassie three years ago at a bridal show when she was unsure of her wedding venue. They decided on The Stillwater Place at the Cleveland Zoo, a venue that is only two years old. The ceremony was held earlier in the day on Wade Deck, overlooking a pond and fountain. Passers-by got a glimpse of the wedding, but it was hidden just enough to make it nice and private. After the ceremony, Cassie and Jimmy wanted to go back to where the magic happened; Chagrin Falls. It’s the area they live in, the bench they shared their first kiss, and the gazebo Jimmy proposed. The bridal party ventured around, and we got great shots all over town. We headed back to the Zoo for cocktail hour. During that time, the guests were able to see first hand a few creatures held by zoo workers. It was my first time at Stillwater Place, and I would love to go back. The coordinator was top notch, the food was excellent, and they had the best coffee I have ever had-seriously! The grounds are well maintained and it offers such a unique experience for guests.

Couples like Cassie and Jimmy make me love my job even more. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!
