Spring Cleveland Ariel Pearl Center Wedding

May 18th kicked off the busy season with Marla and Michael’s Ariel Pearl Center Wedding! The morning started out with some rain but ended early on. We had plenty of time to photograph all the gorgeous details while the girls finished hair and makeup. Marla and Michael then each opened their gifts from each other.

The ceremony was held at St. Ignatius Church which has gorgeous architecture. We made sure to utilize the time we had there to capture some stunning images. After the ceremony, the bridal party went to the Cleveland Museum of Art for photos. The grounds were crowded with other bridal parties and prom groups, but we managed to find some great spots. We made sure to arrive at the reception before cocktail hour started to get some shots inside. It was my first time at the Ariel Pearl Center and I couldn’t love it more! The space is so elegant and classic (it was an old bank building in the ’20s). It was the perfect choice for Marla and Michael who are both bankers!! They even gave pennies and scratch-off lottery tickets for the favors.

Marla and Michael surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance to Florence and the Machine’s rendition of “Stand by Me“. It literally left me with goosebumps! We were lucky enough to have perfect weather to sneak up to the rooftop for sunset photos. It was the perfect way to end the night! This was a great way to start the season and with an awesome group of vendors!
