Sarah and Jeff’s Windows on the River wedding was one that I had been anticipating for almost a year! During their engagement session last August, I got to know them more and see what great people they are. The year flew by and before we knew it, their big day had arrived.
We spent the morning at both Jeff and Sarah’s parent’s houses where the bridal party got ready. Both moms had decorated the front doors of each house with bride and groom decor. Sarah and Jeff opened their cards and gifts from each other before heading to St. Bernadette Church for the ceremony. They took a moment to hold hands minutes before seeing each other for the first time, as Sarah walked down the aisle. The rain was coming down pretty hard during the entire ceremony but stopped just in time for a bubble exit and outdoor pictures.
Sarah and Jeff met at Rocky River Highschool, so they wanted to stop for some quick pictures where their story began. We had an organized gameplan in place to go to several locations for pictures, and we made it happen with the help of a cooperative bridal party and A-1 Mr. Limo! I have no idea how Jeff and Sarah are going to pick their favorite photos, I have SO MANY from their day! We were fortunate to have so much time for photos, and great weather- a photographer’s dream!
The reception was held at the stunning Windows on the River in the flats. The cocktail hour took place in the lower level, which is the Cleveland Aquarium. A highlight of the night was definitely the photos in the shark exhibit! Once Sarah and Jeff cut their cake, they had a choreographed first dance and got the party going. It was such a great day, and one of my all-time favorite weddings to date.
Sarah and Jeff, I hope you enjoy a glimpse of my favorites from your day!
