Sasha and John had a gorgeous Inn Walden Wedding a few weeks ago. The newlyweds now share something special with me. They got married on my anniversary, August 4th, and just like my wedding day, the dry, Summer heat was in full force. August will always be my favorite month of the year, it is usually the driest and it truly defines Summer.
Sasha and the bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done in their suite, while John and the groomsmen relaxed in a separate suite. The morning flew by, and before we knew it, it was time for Sasha to get into her gorgeous, Martina Liana dress. We tried to find some shady areas for photos before the start of the ceremony. Sasha’s brother in law was the officiant, and the two very special ring bearers made quite the entrance up the aisle with the rings. Sasha and John wrote their own vows, which were beautifully written. You truly felt the love they each have for one another.
The Inn Walden is such a gorgeous place, with so many accommodations for the bride and groom, and your guests. The food was superb and the reception space is far from the normal ballroom. After dinner, guests went to another room to enjoy live music from Fabulous Voices, a local band with tons of talent. The room overlooks the stable’s indoor arena, so guests could watch two horses’ grazing, up close and personal. Sasha and John danced to The Book of Love, by Magnetic Fields, for their first dance as husband and wife. Later in the evening, guests got a special treat outside, where Swensons Food Truck came with their ever so delicious, and famous Galley Boy!
Sasha and John’s wedding was definitely a hit! Everything was perfect in every way.
S + J, thank you for having me! Here is a glimpse of my favorites from the day.
