Katie + James’ Wedding at St. Paul’s Church + Fairlawn Country Club
I met Katie over ten years ago when I photographed her brother’s wedding, so I was honored when she reached out to me to photograph her Fairlawn Country Club wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Akron, the same church where her brother got married. It is a beautiful church with a gorgeous courtyard to take photos in, and the cutest getting ready space.
Katie did a first look with her dad, and then it started to rain just as the ceremony was about to start. Afterwards, we had planned to go to some other picture locations, but we found there were so many cute spots at the church we stayed there. The reception was at Fairlawn Country Club which also gave us some nice outdoor space to go while the rain let up.
We ended the night with some fun sparkler and fireworks photos thanks to the bridal party! Katie and James really cared about their photos, and I am pleased with the results! It was great working with some familiar faces! Here are my favorites from the day.
