Kassidy + Jhett’s Summer Country Cottage and Gardens Wedding
When Kassidy and Jhett planned their Country Cottage and Gardens Wedding, it was a gamble. Both their ceremony and reception were planned for outdoors, so we needed great weather, and Ohio delivered! It was my first time at Country Cottage and Gardens and it didn’t disappoint. I love that the property has so many options for getting ready, a beautiful ceremony space and outdoor reception space.
Kassidy and Jhett had a private first look and read each other super sweet handwritten vows. We were able to get a jump start on portraits before the ceremony started. Kassidy arranged for her Grandpa’s 1917 red truck to be there which was a perfect touch! They had a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Jhett’s Dad, complete with both their dogs in attendance. They also made lemonade, which was a first for me to see during a ceremony! It fit their lemon themed decor!
The reception had so many personalized touches including a s’more bar, homemade cheesecakes by Kassidy’s Mom, and delicious food by the venue. We ended the night with some fun golden hour photos. I loved everything about this wedding and venue! I can’t wait to be back.
