Ashton and Larry’s Columbia Woodlands Wedding will be a favorite for sure! The venue is fairly new, and this wedding was their very first all-inclusive wedding! Had this venue had been around in 2012, I would have gotten married there. There aren’t venues in the Akron/Canton area like it, from what I’ve seen. The Spring House has a cozy, rustic, western, upscale vibe all in one. Ashton and the girls got ready in the Bridal Suite, while Larry and the guys were at Rock Path Cabin. Ashton’s flowers were wrapped in her Grandpa’s handkerchief, and her dress was hung from her Grandma’s pink hanger. Her vintage style dress and shoes were on point. The couple hand wrote each other letters to read before the ceremony.
They said their I Do’s at Grace Bible Church in Massillon. At the church, they were surprised by an uncle’s 1956 Buick to drive them back to the venue. Of course, it started raining when we were taking photos by the car. Ashton’s uncle said that she must be pretty special because the car hadn’t seen rain in years! After some bridal party photos, we took the bride and groom on a loop around the property for some different scenery.
Their wedding meal was one of the best ever, served family style, by Chef Natalie. Ashton and her Dad had a very special father/daughter dance, that really has to be seen on video. It was priceless! We snuck up to Ceremony Hill around Sunset for a few more photos with the newlyweds. The bridal party and immediate family were all staying on site where the party continued. There are luxury cabins and camping on site with 400 acres of gorgeous land. Columbia Woodlands is hands down a truly unique wedding venue that tops the list!
Ashton and Larry, I am so excited to share my favorites with you! I hope you love them.
