Fall Akron Woman’s City Club Wedding.
Katrina and Matt had the perfect Fall day for their Akron Woman’s City Club Wedding. When I had first met with them last Winter, they had a date booked but not a venue. They were on the hunt for a small venue that would hold their intimate wedding. They came across Akron Woman’s City Club, one of the oldest and largest clubs for women in America, opened in 1923. It was my first time there and it truly was the perfect place for them! It is spacious, so Katrina and Matt were able to both get ready there in separate rooms along with their bridal party. The ceremony was held in the transformed Crystal Dining Room.
After the ceremony, we found a great spot outside for the bridal party portraits. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we had some nice golden light. Guests were able to enjoy the cocktail hour inside and out. The reception was held in the ballroom, a cozy spot for their small guest list. After dinner, we headed out for some sunset shots and then the party got started. Katrina and Matt had their first dance and then Katrina had a special dance for her niece Bella. It was a joy to be a part of this wedding. Katrina and Matt, I hope you like the preview!
Enjoy!
