Gorgeous Acacia Reservation Fall Wedding with Elizabeth and David
Elizabeth and David had the perfect day for their Acacia Reservation Fall Wedding! We started the day at John Roberts Spa in Solon where the girls had their hair and makeup done. We then headed to Elizabeth’s parents’ house for detail shots and getting ready photos. Elizabeth popped a bottle of bubbly with the girls and then had a special first look with her Dad in the backyard. The ceremony was held at St. Rita’s Church in Solon, just a few minutes away. David held back some tears as he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle toward him.
The Venue
Since the ceremony was early, we had plenty of time for pictures before the start of the reception. This was my first wedding at Acacia Reservation, and I absolutely loved it! It used to be a golf course, but now it’s a 155- acre Metropark in Lyndhurst. The wide-open land was the perfect spot for bridal party photos! It was a little on the chilly side, but I’ll take that any day over rain! We captured so many great images, it was certainly hard narrowing down for their blog post.
The venue itself is stunning, and I cannot say enough good things about the food! Dino’s catering served an elegant, overly delicious dinner! Once the reception started, guests could enjoy the photo booth, an elaborate candy bar filled with lots of purple candies, and a gorgeous view of the park on the oversized covered patio. Liz and David were surprised with a slideshow before dinner, and really surprised when we saw the most beautiful sunset to sneak out for a few photos at the perfect moment! Everything about this wedding, I loved! Liz & David are such a sweet couple, it was a joy to be a part of this special day!
