Today, I am welcoming their daughter to the world, Miss Lillian! I have said it before, and I will say it again: I specialize in wedding photography. I by no means claim to be a “pro newborn or child” photographer, but I like to expand my horizons and do other forms of photography. It also makes past brides and clients feel comfortable letting me capture these moments, having worked with me in the past. I know how exhausting it is after bringing a new baby home from the hospital, the last thing you want to do is leave your house! I like to do newborn sessions in your home, where you feel the most secure and relaxed.
Lillian was born on Christmas Day, so it only made sense to do a Christmas themed session. We used the hat she got from the hospital, and the scarf Lydia used in her maternity photos. Her middle name is the same as her Grandmas, so we used Grandmas’ wedding veil and pearls for some of the pictures. We also took some photos with big sister and brother, which are SO CUTE! I think Lillian looks just like her brother right now, but we’ll see if that changes.
