I had the honor of photographing Lauren and Eric’s wedding back in June 2015 at the beautiful Firestone Country Club. Since then, they welcomed their 1st born, Jaxon. Jaxon is SO ridiculously cute, I could squeeze his cheeks all day! He is celebrating his 2nd birthday in April, so we did some birthday photos for him, and newborn photos for little brother Evan. Evan was just 6 days old at his shoot, but he was pretty curious with what was going on around him. I guess with a 2 year old running around, he better get used to it!
Jaxon is such a Mickey Mouse fan, all he wanted was “Mick”. We tried to incorporate that and his new, red truck. Since both the boys were born around Easter time, we used some of those props as well. I always recommend an in home session for your newborn. It makes the experience a little more comfortable for you and your children. Plus, with being in your own environment, we can usually use props of your own. This family is such a joy to be around. Lauren is the most laid back, sweetest person, you would not have known she just had a baby days before! I hope to take family photos for them soon. Congrats on your new family of 4!
